Plots
Cilvil SkyGen uses a persistent save/load plot system. Your personal build is not permanently tied to one physical location.
Automatic assignment
When you first join:
- The server finds the lowest available physical plot slot.
- A new default plot is prepared for you.
- You receive 20 minutes of new-player raid protection.
- Your plot ID appears on the HUD while you are inside the plot world.
You do not need to manually claim a first plot.
Saving and loading
Your plot area is saved as a persistent world structure.
- Leaving the server: Your active plot is saved, reset, and freed for another player.
- Save & Unclaim: Saves your build, clears the physical area, restores the default plot, and frees the slot.
- Returning later: Your saved build loads into the next available physical slot.
- Server restart: Saved plot structures are kept across restarts.
Wait for operations to finish
Large plot saves and resets are processed in slices to reduce server lag. Avoid repeatedly leaving and rejoining while a plot operation is still running.
Outside Raid Night:
- The plot owner may build, break, use containers, and interact inside their plot.
- Other players are blocked from changing or interacting with the plot.
- Building outside the defined plot regions is blocked.
- Explosions are disabled in the plot dimension.
- PvP is disabled in the plot dimension.

Friends
Plot-friend management is planned but is not currently a finished player feature. Do not rely on another player retaining access after Raid Night ends.
